Under the weather

Poor Livie’s been under the weather the past few days. Other than the cold, she has loved being able to snuggle into the guest bed and watch PBS kids.

When Livie gets a cold, it usually goes straight to her chest and she uses a nebulizer to help with her breathing.

She actually enjoys taking her mask because it usually means she’ll get to watch a show while it’s on.

Feel better soon, sweet girl. I know your friends at school are missing you.

Oh my heck! That is the saddest sight.
My Jack Jack gets the same way because he has asthma, but luckily he hasn't had any bad colds this year.
Knock Knock Knock (that's me knocking on wood after saying something like that).
I just noticed we follow a lot of the same blogs. Funny huh? I went to leave a comment on a friends' blog and saw that you had left a comment.

Hi Kat,
I hope she feels better soon! We are going through the same thing at our house with my son, he is supposed to be home with me the rest of the week but I think he is bored!
hugs!

Poor Livie! My little guy, Ben, is under the weather, too. Both of my boys love PBS kids!

That thing is way too familiar. Charlie has finally graduated to an inhaler with a chamber (unless he is really sick). Before the inhaler, we had to do the nebulizer twice a day for preventative medicine. It took forever! So sorry she is sick. Bless her heart.

My little one is the same way...we have the exact machine...I have heard there is a very small portable one that is wonderful!

Best wishes to your little one!

Looks just like my Noah. Same issue - those colds would take so long to go away. As he has gotten older he has had less and less problems. We finally rarely have to use the nebulizer. Hopefully your daughter will grow out of it as well. His doctor says keeping active is really good because it strengthens his lungs. He is always running around with sports so I think that really helped.

oh, i bet it just breaks your heart seeing her using this! and yet, so wonderful there is something to help her little lungs get air when she's sick. i'm sure she's feeling better now. spring can't get here fast enough! xoxo
