Anthro Love

For those of you who have ever had the pleasure of strolling through an Anthropologie store, you know it’s a treat for all the senses. The store is beyond lovely, their window displays are UNBELIEVABLE and of course, every nook and cranny in the store is an absolute treasure trove.

My parents are in town at the moment and Anthropologie is one of my mom’s favorite stores too. You can always find the perfect, most unique and breathtaking gifts there! I could spend hours in that store and still not see everything. It’s pure bliss every time I go there.

I love the meal-planning magnetic notepad. This will be great to see the week’s menu at a glance. LOVE IT! I also love the ALL OUT OF notepad. My “Real Simple” “Things to do” checklist had recently run out and I have been looking for a replacement for quite some time. Tada!!! Found!

How darling are these colorful little page flags? I can’t wait to use them to flag our favorite recipes in my cookbooks.

Could you just die?!?!? How precious is this adorable little giraffe jewelry dish. It’s ridiculously cute and functional!

I’ve had my eye on this ceramic egg holder for quite some time now. I am going to use it hold my jewelry/earrings.

I also had two ceramic Ikat bowls that I decided against at the checkout. (I may go back for those…) I wanted a cute bowl to put my rings and watch in while I am baking/cooking. I have another anthro bowl that I bought last fall that I can bring downstairs to use now that I have the darling giraffe dish to take it’s place.

Seriously, every time I go in that store I walk around with a big goofy grin on my face. There are so many lovely things to see.  If you have never been and you get the chance, you must check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Target Love

Who doesn’t love Target? Seriously, it is one of the best places on Earth. Lovely place for a bargain, terrible place for running in for one thing and coming out with bags full of all sorts of lovely things you had no intention of buying but just simply couldn’t live without. Here are a few things that are on my Target wish list.

Some adorable sandals for the girls…

A sassy bag for Mommy… did I tell you I’m on a bag kick lately and I’ve had my eye on this one for a few weeks now…

With all this rain we’ve been having lately, I just might need a cute pair of rain boots. Check out all the delicious choices… LOVE ALL OF THEM!

I was wishing that the rain would just go away, but now I’m not so sure.

Raindrops keep falling on my head

Blech! It has been pouring rain here for the past few days. Miserable. I just hope it clears by 1:00pm on Sunday so I don't have to reschedule our tennis matches again. Even though it was a torrential downpour, Lauren and I braved the nasty weather to head back over to my favorite gift shop, the one I went to earlier this week after leaving my wallet at home. As luck would have it, Lauren got carsick on the way there and threw up in the car. Thankfully, she didn't throw up that much and I was able to change her clothes while standing in the van so I wouldn't get wet. Once she had clean, dry clothes on, we were ready to shop.

She ate some popcorn while I browsed around the store for bargains.Leaving the house empty-handed must have been fate because they had a sale today and I pulled an Easter egg with 30% percent off my entire purchase. Sweet. I bought a few lovely things, and a darling gift for my dear friend, Kim who is celebrating her birthday in a few days.

Just call me the "Bag Lady"

I think this is just the most darling beach bag ever!

How cute is this tote? Great for shopping!!! Love the "k" (I won at Bunco last night, so this was my little treat for myself!)

On another note, with all this rain, I think I might dive into some good books. These have been recommended by so many of my close friends, I don't think I can hold off reading them any longer.

I wanted to wait until I had a block of time because I know I won't be able to put them down once I start.

I also picked up these cute sewing books from the library. I am hoping to be inspired by a cute, relatively simple project to blow the dust of my sewing machine. Should be fun. I'll post picture of the finished project.

Here are a few goofy shots of the girls doing what they do best. Being silly.

The heart races...

Have you spied the aprons at Anthropologie? Here are just a few of my favorites... in no particular order...

How about these precious dishtowel sets?

I could spend hours in this store just looking at all the pretty things!
