Amazing Grace

A few weeks ago I suggested to my dear friend, Nancy, that we take some pictures of her with her beloved boxer, Grace. Nancy rescued Grace as a puppy and has shared a special bond with her ever since. Grace is only five and a half and has an inoperable heart condition. Although this was a tearful photo shoot, the pictures we captured tell a beautiful story of Nancy and Grace’s relationship.

     

Words cannot describe the special bond that Nancy and Grace share, but pictures can.

When we were headed back to the car, Grace found an old ball in the field. She loves to play with tennis balls, basketballs, baseballs, you name it. If it’s round and it rolls and bounces, she’s going to steal it.

Grace holds a special place in my heart too, not just because she’s a boxer, but because she is such a love bug! She is also one of Fergus’ best pals.

Sweet Grace, you have touched the hearts and blessed the souls of everyone you’ve met. Such a sweet girl, we love you so much!

Snacks and Films

Last week the girls and I were home alone so we decided to head out and buy some movies and snacks for a girls movie weekend.

Two of my favorite Disney movies, The Parent Trap (original), and The Emperor’s New Groove. So hilarious, both of them. Great movies! The girls are still a little young for The Parent Trap but they giggled uncontrollably throughout The Emperor’s New Groove.

Our standard movies snacks… Sour Patch Kids, Mike and Ikes, and Junior Mints.

Of course we couldn’t leave out the Cheetos. Please tell me you’ve tried these? They are ridiculously good. Well worth the cheesy fingers… just be prepared to eat the whole bag in one sitting… because you will. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Yummy  snacks + hilarious movies + great company = a fun day at home!
