This has been a very hot summer and it is just beginning. Although the girls have been out of school since the middle of May, the temperature outside has been steadily rising and it has been uncomfortably hot. Thank goodness for pools and air conditioning. When we are not at our neighborhood pool, the girls have fun splashing around in their own little pool in our backyard.

I love it! The colors are so vibrant in your photos. We've been hanging out at the pool too, along with a million other people. I hate that it's so crowded. One of the reasons we bought the house we did is because it boasts membership with the amazingly beautiful rec centers around us (there are 4) and they all seem to be packed. These are not public rec centers either. Bang goes that idea.
