Hopping down the bunny trail, hippity, hoppity, Easter’s on its way.
We had a glorious Easter Sunday today!
Craig and I managed to get the girls dressed and out the door for the 8:00am service. Yes, you read that correctly, we were shocked as well as we can barely get out the door for the 9:30 service as it is, 8:00am was definitely a stretch. It was wonderful, not too crowded, a lovely service, and we were back in the car on our way back home by 9:15.
Once we arrived back at the house, the girls received their Easter baskets, apparently, the Easter Bunny decided to give them their baskets after church so as to avoid a meltdown before 8:00am. Worked like a charm until they grabbed the jelly bean-filled Easter eggs and sent jelly beans cascading all over the kitchen floor. Fergus was delighted, Craig, not so much.
Check out the loot!
Lauren cannot contain her excitement!
What shall I eat first?
Wow! Jewelry! Thanks Auntie Janice!!!
Whoops, all the jelly beans are on the floor. Lucky Fergus!
We waited for mom and dad to return from church and we all headed out together for Easter Brunch at this lovely, old southern house.
This is how we “Roll”
But since the six of us couldn’t all fit into one Rolls Royce, we decided to take two more.
Just kidding, we actually bounced up to the joint in our kickin’ Odyssey instead, way cooler that the Rolls.
We were seated in the enclosed outdoor patio. Such a gorgeous day, it was refreshing to be outside.
Thank God for crayons.
Waiting to order.

Brunch was delicious, dessert was positively mouth-watering!
The girls had vanilla ice cream, we also ordered a warm brownie torte and bread pudding.
Lauren adored the ice cream. Delicious and exhausting. A two for one dessert special.
Mmmmmmmmm, bread pudding.
Going, going…
gone!
What is taking them so long?!

Oh what a wonderful Easter your family enjoyed!!! How neat to have your parents with you to celebrate the holiday together with the girls! I treasure the Easters we had together when my folks were alive, so it is so neat that you captured so many great moments today! You have such a beautiful family! Oh yes, your town square looks so pretty!!! I am a wanna-be southerner in the biggest way! One day I will get to visit the south in person and I can't wait! Have a great rest of your Easter, and a wonderful week! With love from Colorado, Denise :-)
