The Maine Attraction (Part I)

We just returned home yesterday from a two and a half week vacation that took us through 12 states and 2 provinces.

We spent our first week in the quaint little village of Bayside, Maine. It was the epitome of beauty and relaxation. We had a beachfront cottage that was utterly adorable.

I peeked out the patio door of our bedroom early the first morning to this delightful sunrise.

We headed downstairs to eat breakfast in the sun porch overlooking the water. It was breathtaking. DSC04544

Since it was still too early to head down to the beach, we didn’t want the girls to wake up the neighbors, we pulled out the jigsaw puzzles and got to work.

Finally, when we couldn’t stand it any longer, we headed down the stairs to the beach.

The girls proceeded to throw 600 rocks apiece into the the water.
